Sade is back making music again. The soulful English group fronted by 50 year-old singer Sade Adu will release its long-awaited sixth studio album, “Soldier of Love” Feb. 8, 2010 according to Epic Records. This will be the bands’ first collection of new material since 2000’s “Lover’s Rock”, which sold 3,881,000 copies in the U.S. alone.
“Soldier of Love” was recorded in England and produced by the band and longtime collaborator Mike Pela. Maxwell, a fellow label-mate at Sony told sources that her new songs were “monolithic and would make anyone shake in their shoes.”
