The disaster in Port-au-Prince,Haiti left thousands of children abandoned.Prior to the earthquake,Haiti had a substantial amount of orphans and abandoned children living on the streets or in orphanages.Since the disaster many children have been adopted by families all over the world including Europe and Philadelphia.On this past Monday the State Department anounced that they will allow orphans from Haiti to enter the states on a temporary case-by-case basis.
