James & Cameron
Positive, funny, energetic and crazy are all characteristics that describe James and Cameron. The two started their duo in the 10th grade at John F. Kennedy High School, hosting as DJ’s at all of their high school events. From the morning announcements to lunchtime activities, James and Cameron managed to entertain their crowds using their energetic and humorous stage presence. After graduation the two continued to host and dJ their events all over Southern California. Teaming up with Celebrity High Magazine, as the official dJ’s for their concert and events, lead them to their own show on KCLA FM, a Los Angeles Internet based radio station, where they handled the production, marketing, advertisement and the budget of the show. Their show, entitled “Off Da Mic”, was a 30min show of fun, music, and big laughs. Since fourteen years of age James has been performing standup comedy at colleges and clubs all over California. Words that describe James’ comedy are wild, energetic and random. At the age of fifteen, James received his first standing ovation. Also at fifteen years of age, James hosted a very successful fashion show in the San Fernando Valley. James’ personality landed himself on a season of “Homework Hotline” as a comedy sketch actor of the show. James performed in plays as well; such as “James and the Giant Peach”, “Mugsy” and “Snow White in the 70s” .In all three of the plays James was the “comedy relief”, ridding the audience of the serious tension the plays were giving off. Cameron brought his entrepreneurial skills to the duo. At the age of 18 he started his own small entertainment business allowing him and James to continue doing what they love. While receiving numerous entrepreneurial awards from the valley economic department center and Wells Fargo he was also the voice of the golden cougars announcing all of Kennedy’s football and basketball games. While in high school he became the official DJ of Northridge Skate land where he has hosted as Dj parties for Magic Johnson, Chris brown, Barry Bons, Polo Da Dawn, Los Angeles Dodgers and a list of fundraisers and group parties. As James and Cameron continue to perform as entertainers and DJ, they are more than excited and thankful to be where they are today. They enjoying doing what they love doing and that is being entertainers. James is attending California State University Northridge where he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in communications, while Cameron attends Los Angeles Valley College where he is preparing to transfer to UCLA Anderson School of Business where he will major in finance.
